Aladdin Starring Ahmed Ezz & Tara Emad Returns to Cairo Show Theatre

After dazzling audiences with its first run in Egypt last year, the Aladdin stage show starring Ahmed Ezz and Tara Emad is returning to Cairo Show Theatre.

The musical premiered in Saudi Arabia during Riyadh Season - a sweeping two-month celebration of the Saudi capital - in December 2019, before coming home to roost in Egypt. Filled with magic, music and more than its fair share of tomfoolery, the family-friendly production has been entertaining children and adults alike with its uniquely Egyptian-ised presentation of an Arabian Nights classic.

Beyond its two star leads, the cast also features the likes of Mohamed Tharwat, Sami Maghawry, Hisham Ismail, Karim Afifi and Mohamed Gomaa, who are coming together for a unique spectacle that has gone someway to reigniting Egypt’s old love affair with theatre.
