Egychology's Ahmed Samir Airs S2 of 'A Superbly Scientific Podcast'

Last summer, Egyptian YouTuber Ahmed Samir - known for his widely successful channel Egychology - partnered with Arab podcast company Kerning Cultures Network to launch a new science show ‘A Superbly Scientific Podcast’ or ‘Podcast 3elmi Gedan’. Since airing in late June 2021, the podcast has become a huge hit in the region, topping the science category across 10 countries and charting as Egypt’s number one top podcast at one point. Now, Samir is back and better than ever with his second season, bringing with it all-new episodes and more exciting topics.

Samir launched Egychology in 2015 to combine his love of teaching with his desire to create uplifting content. His episodes tackle a broad variety of complex subjects, from quantum mechanics and art history to the science behind the COVID-19 vaccine.

Each episode in his podcast show is a humorous dive into philosophical science questions that keep the curious mind up thinking at night, like “Do aliens really exist?”, or “Why is beauty valued by society?”, or “Are horoscopes based in science?”

With season two well underway, Samir has been delving into many more topics including maternal bonds, landing on the moon, black holes, genetically modified food, racism, the Big Bang, and epigenetics. Four episodes have already been released, giving loyal Egychology fans and podcast lovers another insightful whirl into the world of science.
