Ghabbour Auto to Establish New Car Repair Schools

Two new applied technology schools for car manufacturing and repair are setting foot in Egypt thanks to the Ghabbour Foundation for Development. If that name sounds familiar, yes that is the same Ghabbour in Ghabbour Auto— one of Egypt’s biggest car retailers.

The schools come as a joint effort between the Ministry of Education and Technical Education and the Ghabbour Foundation for Development. The Ghabbour School for Applied Technology will establish campuses in 6th of October city and 15th of May city in time for the next academic year.

The new partnership is part of the ministry’s effort to reach the educational targets in Egypt’s Vision 2030 plan, which emphasizes technical training for all citizens in industries that have a lot of informal employment.
