Egyptian MP Says Women Should Undergo FGM Because the Country's Men Cannot Handle their Sex Drives

An Egyptian Member of Parliament by the name of Elhamy Agina called on the nation’s women to accept female genital mutilation to reduce their sex drive to accommodate men’s “sexual weakness,” according to Egyptian Streets.

Agina believes that doing that is essential to “keep the wheel turning.” Parlamany quotes the MP as saying: “We are a population whose men suffer from sexual weakness, which is evident because Egypt is among the biggest consumers of sexual stimulants that only the weak will consume.”

The representative of Daqahliyya warns that stopping the barbaric practice could have serious consequences for everyone: “If we stop FGM, we will need strong men and we don’t have men of that sort.” As such, he sees that women should undergo the procedure because it at least "reduces a woman's sexual appetite," if not a man's and women should support their men for life to continue smoothly.
