Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, will be funding the treatment of 1,500 wounded Palestinians and the sponsorship of 3,000 orphans in the Gaza Strip.
This initiative will involve Qatar's coordination with Egypt to transport the injured and their companions to designated hospitals for treatment.
