AlalSheikh Pledges USD 500,000 Prize for Winner

Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, has pledged an additional USD 500,000 to be awarded to the team that emerges victorious in the Egyptian Premier League. This contribution adds to the existing prize money, making the Egyptian Premier League the most lucrative in its history, with a total prize pool of USD 950,000 for the winner.

"Due to the long-standing relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt, our love and appreciation for Egyptians and our enthusiasm for the final match between Al Ahly and Zamalek... Riyadh Season is presenting an additional USD 500,000 dollars to the winning team,” Turki Alalshikh explained through his official Facebook page.

He also revealed an award for the best player in the final match of the cup, valued at USD 50,000.
