So apparently we have a hot new governor in town. Well, not in our town exactly, but Alexandria’s newly sworn in governor, Hany El-Messiry, has the female population in a tizzy as Twitter has exploded with messages of well, basically, his level of hotness. Yesterday, in a long-awaited move, a whopping seventeen new provincial governors were sworn in by Sisi, and it didn’t take long for photos of 58-year-old El-Messiry to start making the social media rounds and get women swooning. No Egyptian politician has instigated such a Twitter riot of loins on fire since Mostafa Hegazy had women’s panties dropping across the country. You mark our words, this man will be the subject of tonight’s family dinner. Your grandma will be proclaiming how handsome the new Alexandrian governor is.

Messiry has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, as well as a Master’s degree from Alexandria University, both in Business Administration.
