Egyptian Romcom‘#Gawwezni’ Will Be Screened in London

Egyptian romantic comedy ‘#Gawwezni’, starring Egyptian-British actor Amir El-Masry and Egyptian actress Mayan El Sayed, will be screened in London starting February 3rd. The film will play at London’s Vue Cinema London - Shepherd’s Bush, Vue Cinema Shepherd’s Bush (Westfield), Vue Cinema London Finchley Road at O2 Centre, and ODEON Luxe Acton.

Released in Egypt in November 2022, ‘#Gawwezni’ follows DJ Fares (El-Masry), who falls madly in love with Lily (El Sayed). After Fares is hit by a magic spell - which causes any girl he professes his love to to get married to someone else - a series of hilarious misunderstandings ensue. ‘#Gawwezni’ is directed by Essam Nassar, and features a cast of Egyptian veteran actors including Sabrine and Bayoumi Fouad.
