Exports of Liquified Natural Gas Have Already Reached USD 3.89 Billion

During the first four months of 2022, natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from Egypt increased by 98% to reach USD 3.892 billion, compared to USD 3.959 billion earned throughout 2021.

This massive jump springboards off the gains made last year, when revenue from exports of natural gas saw a whopping hike of 768% from USD 456 million in 2020.

These findings from the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources demonstrate unprecedented progress for Egypt’s export industry, almost doubling the gains of 2021 in just the first half of 2022.
