Ministry of Health Will Launch a Digital Archive For Radiology Reports

The Ministry of Health and Population will launch a digital archive for medical records.

As part of a larger project titled the ‘Pax System’, the digital archive aims to enhance healthcare services by preserving X-ray films and radiology reports for all patients for a minimum of five years. The project will also enable doctors to access patients’ data remotely for diagnostic purposes.

The ‘Pax System’ project also looks to develop medical equipment in 200 public and private hospitals across the nation.
