New Campaign Encourages Upper Egyptian Women to Screen for Cancer

The Ministry of Social Solidarity and The Egyptian Society for Colposcopy are launching a new campaign to raise awareness of cancer and reproductive health amongst women in Upper Egypt.

Titled the ‘1000 Kilometers Journey’, the initiative emphasizes the importance of prevention and early detection of cervical cancer, as well as other diseases like breast, lung and colon cancer. The campaign will also offer training sessions on reproductive health and contraceptive methods.
