New Retirement House ‘Soft Power’ Welcomes Elderly Egyptian Artists
The home is a collaboration between the syndicate and Sharjah’s Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi.
A new retirement home has opened especially for elderly Egyptian artists in 6th of October city. Named ‘Soft Power’, the home was created by the Egypt’s Acting Professions Syndicate to honour Egyptian artists and creators, and help them secure their legal rights.
The home’s opening ceremony featured multiple honorary awards for renowned Egyptian actors including the former head of the Acting Professions Syndicate Ashraf Abd El Ghafour, Sameh El-Sereity and Mohamed Abou Daoud, as well as the late Egyptian actor Hesham Selim.
The Soft Power house has a capacity of forty people, and is a collaboration between the syndicate and Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, the sovereign ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah.
