Red Crescent to Revive Olive Farming in North Sinai's Devastated Lands

The Egyptian Red Crescent has just announced its ‘Until We Return’ initiative to encourage the restoration of olive farms in North Sinai. Specifically, they’re hoping to bring back the practice within the villages of Sheikh Zuweid and Rafah.

This new venture aligns with the Red Crescent’s goal of encouraging natives of Sinai to return home, and is hoped to re-energize Sinai’s domestic and economic potential.

As part of these sustained efforts to develop North Sinai, the Red Crescent also announced the launch of a medical convoy to provide health services to the people of Al-Sakaska village, east of the city of Al-Arish. Coupled with their restorative plans, these new implementations look to bring back life to some of North Sinai’s most devastated regions.
