To celebrate the 27th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Egypt and South Korea, South Korean President Moon Jae-in will visit Egypt from January 20th to January 21st as part of a three-country tour to bolster the comprehensive partnership between Cairo and Seoul.

President Moon Jae-in will first go to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, before arriving in Egypt to hold a summit with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and attend a forum on eco-friendly businesses.

Although diplomatic relations began decades ago, it developed rapidly in 2016 when President El-Sisi visited South Korea, resulting in an all-encompassing cooperative partnership.
