9 Egyptians Named on Forbes’ 2018 Top 100 Executives in the Middle East List

Forbes has announced its list of 100 Executives in the Middle East for 2018, with top dogs from 29 nations, including 9 Egyptians, making up the list. Forbes said that, in the middle of the trade wars between the US and China, and the pervasion of technological advancement in all fields of business, multinationals remain the spine of the region’s economies.

The list included the innovators and change-makers that led their companies to make positive impacts on the Middle East in 2018, most of which came from a tech background. Below, are the 9 Egyptians that were selected by the magazine.

7th, on the list came Takreem El-Tohamy, General Manager of IBM Middle East & Africa.

20th, Taha Khalifa, Regional Sales Executive at Intel for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

28th, Ashraf El-Afifi, Regional President of Henkel for India, Middle East and Africa.

46th, Mohamed Amin, Egyptian-Canadian Vice-President of Dell in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.

51st, Mostafa El-Guezeri, Managing Director of ABB’s operations in the UAE and South-East Asia.

67th, Ahmed Kenawi, Vice President of Halliburton in the Middle East and North Africa’s (MENA) Petrochemicals Division.

73rd, Amr El-Leithy, President of Nokia in the MENA.

74th, Khedr Matar, Egyptian-Canadian Regional Vice President of Sales at Bombardier Business Aircraft.

96th, Ahmed Ouda, CEO of VMware in the MENA and Turkey’s Tech division.
