Be Anything But 'Bazic' This Summer

As you may have guessed from its name, local brand Bazic was always popular for their basics. Their tried and true collections have consisted of essentials like neutral sweat sets and cotton garments. Now, they’re pulling out a more colourful trick out of their hat with the release of their all-new summer collection.

With the entry of silk sets, geometric print kimonos, printed summer dresses, and swimwear, the season’s hottest colours and patterns appear in full throttle as the collection hits the most recent trends right on the head. But what really makes them hard to resist is that they’re also modest and practical enough to be worn in the city.

“The collection also has a wide variety of so many pieces that can be worn in Cairo,” marketing manager Sandra Magdi tells SceneStyled. “Bazic’s general theme is featuring comfy designs that give you the effortlessly cool look. This summer’s main theme is colour blocking. We’re featuring different items in trendy colours that you can mix and match to get different looks.”

Last December, the label took an altogether quirkier turn, with neons, sequins, mini skirts and bralettes in their collaborative collection with fashion blogger Noha El Sherbiny, who introduced her bold and unconventional style choices to Bazic.
