Dina Dash Drops Breezy New Summer Collection

In December 2020, influencer and digital dynamo Dina Dash gave us MFNS – an adorable athleisure line that dropped with an equally adorable shoot featuring her family and friends rocking the collection. Named after her moniker for her followers  - whom she calls ‘Muffins’ - Dina Dash’s merch is designed with an established audience in mind. Now, MFNS’ latest collection, ‘SUMR’, takes on a less ‘merchy’ approach with an all-new product line featuring beachwear, airy fabrics, and tasteful neutrals that are giving us major Portofino vacay vibes. 

Perfect for Sahelites and Gounies, the new collection strikes a balance between practicality and trendiness, mainly because of how multi-purpose its pieces are. The light two-pieces and dresses can be easily worn as a cache maillot, or thrown on for a simple daytime look. There’s something for everyone.

“This collection is so different from anything I’ve created before,” Dash tells SceneStyled. “I worked on every single detail, along with my mom, in perfecting the styles and getting the best, high quality fabrics in the market to produce a line that for me is the perfect definition of ‘easy fashion’. Pieces you could just slip into and end up looking chic with the least effort possible, and this is where the word SUMR came to life, it's simply a shortcut to a fashionable summer season.”

Dash launched her own agency, Dash Management, in 2015 when she was 21 years old, and has since created campaigns for some heavyweight brands while serving up real, raw, fresh and fun content on the daily from beauty tips to adorable TikToks and - when the occasion demands - a woke moment or two.
