Empowerment & Modesty with Local Fashion Brand Nesaa

Nesaa, a  Cairo-based modest wear brand by fashion influencer Farah Emara and entrepreneur Amal Elshehaby, looks to empower women and support local artisans. Nesaa’s designs range from airy maxi dresses, long blouses, kaftans and jumpsuits, among other loose-fitting pieces that borrow from current trends.

“Our goal has always been to empower women, and fashion is the best way we know how,” cofounder Amal Elshehaby tells #CairoScene. “Modest wear hasn’t always been thought of as stylish or chic, but we’re hoping to change that and create a safe space where women can feel that they’re exercising their love of style and staying true to their faith.”
