With its strong emphasis on colours, the new collection - titled ‘Is Emily Still in Paris?’ - is giving us major Powerpuff Girls vibes. Yalla squad?

“This collection is called Is Emily Still in Paris? which was inspired mainly by the famous TV show ‘Emily in Paris’,” Farah Wagdy tells SceneStyled. “It’s actually one of my favourite shows. I was inspired by the way she dresses up with the mix of colours. All of her outfits always feature a mix of colours. I was also inspired by the cuts, a mix of styles. With each scene, she emerges with a different mood and a message behind it.”

Although she’s a mass com graduate, Wagdy always had a passion for fashion design, and she started from uni days by taking fashion courses and launching her own brand six years ago. She decided to break the stereotype about blazers, and transform their motives from being formal attire to an outgoing element that can be incorporated into a party outfit or a breakfast look.
