23 Studios Across Egypt Hosting Free Classes for Egypt Day of Yoga

Over the past decade, the healing practice of yoga has gained more popularity in Egypt than ever before. No longer is it considered a quirky exercise for hot neighbour girls a la the 1963 film ‘Zizi’s Family’. With yoga studios popping up all over the country, and Sinai destinations like Dahab and Nuweiba embracing the holistic lifestyle, a philosophy focused on wellness has become a part of our national conversation. Now, a new country-wide event is propelling that philosophy forward.

To celebrate 'Egypt Day of Yoga', 23 studios from across the country are hosting free classes for Egyptians in Cairo, Sinai, and El Gouna on May 7th.

18 studios in Cairo - including the likes of Osana, On the Mat, Lotus, and the Mala - are taking part in the yoga event, giving free lessons on vinyasa flows, pregnancy yoga, ashtanga, aerial yoga, and other variants.

Meanwhile in Sinai, Soul Yoga, Yoga Studio Nuweiba, and Nour Wellbeing Dahab are participating in the event. 

In El Gouna, you can find Phoenix Aerial Arts and KBC/The Shala hosting classes sans fees.
