France's Open Sky International Opens Their First School in Egypt
Open Sky International's school boasts the only bi-lingual curriculum that equally focuses on English and French in Egypt, with a secondary focus on Arabic.
For the first time in Egypt, Paris-based educational group Open Sky International (OSI) is opening a school in Cairo. The school boasts the only bi-lingual curriculum that equally focuses on English and French in Egypt, with a secondary focus on Arabic.
"We deliver the only educational curriculum that embraces international culture with due respect to local cultures. Why should we have to choose?” Emmanuel Fayad, CEO and Co-Founder of OSI, said. “Opening one child's future, embracing an international culture should not mean forgetting your own. Students with both international and local culture make stronger adults."
Supported by the Egyptian Ministry of Education and the French Embassy in Egypt, the school will welcome 180 pre-school and primary school pupils in September 2021, with plans to open an additional 10 schools across the country by 2025.
OSI’s efforts around the world have been recognised by French international channel TV5 Monde, which awarded the school their prestigious ‘Prix de la Francophonie’ in 2012.
