Being introduced to the vast world of funk, reggae, soul, and African sounds at a young age, Taha Elroubi, aka DJ T,  knew his calling was music. Being raised up in some of the most musically vibrant countries in the world such as Sudan and the US, DJ T has quickly established himself as one of the more talented spinners in DC and NYC, back in the late 80’s. In the States, he is prominently known amongst the ‘Fifth Column’ community at Washington D.C.'s widely known Fifth Column club; before leaving for Sudan in the early 90’s.

In 2005, T founded his very own radio station, ‘Capital 91.6 FM, the first English radio station in Sudan, and most certainly the most eclectic in programming. Aside from his passion in the art of music, he sees it as a tool for social and political development, making Capital 91.6 FM a hub of sorts for young talents with dreams of evolving the scene and country.

Across the four-hour mix, DJ T offers a tropical trip across the various soundscapes of House music with immaculately curated selections.
