Italy to Resume Fights to Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada & Marsa Alam

Italian travel companies are preparing new flights to Egypt by the end of October. In anticipation of this, a number of Italian travel agencies are signing contracts with hotels in Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada and Marsa Alam.

The return of flights from Italy after they were suspended over a year ago is a promising development for Egyptian tourism, as Italians make up one of the largest tourist demographics in the country, particularly in Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam.

According to the Tourism Investors Association in South Sinai, the indicators for current and future hotel reservations - alongside the resumption of flights from UK and Russia, as well as an influx of tourism from Germany, Ukraine and Eastern Europe - strongly suggest that Egypt will witness a boom in tourism this winter.
