Cairo University Levels Up Its Digital Learning Services
Cairo University has just signed a contract with Blackboard Inc, giving students access to a multitude of its digital learning services, including Blackboard Collaborate.
If you’re a university student or graduate, you might be familiar with the electronic learning platform Blackboard. If you're not, then long story short - it's a life saver, pretty much. And for most years, that's just being figurative. Besides allowing teachers to give us lessons online, Blackboard helped us keep our assignments and deadlines organised, giving students nearly full control of their education from their computers. And in a time where staying home may be more important than ever, services like this may be more important than ever. Which is why Cairo University has just signed a contract with Blackboard Inc, giving students access to a multitude of its digital learning services, including Blackboard Collaborate.
“We have chosen Blackboard as an educational and learning partner to take the learning process to the next level through its flexible cloud learning management system and virtual classroom solutions,” President of Cairo University Dr. Mohamed El Khasht said. “Coinciding with the emergence of the COVID-19, we need a solution that ensures continuity in these times of fluctuations.”
