'Cemetery of Immortals' Will Honour Egypt’s Most Impactful Figures

A new national project called ‘Cemetery of Immortals’ will honour some of the most impactful figures in Egyptian history by preserving their remains and spotlighting their stories.

The cemetery will host a museum for artefacts that have been found in existing cemeteries after careful relocation by experts. The museum will also feature biographies of national heroes, which will serve as a testament to their contributions to Egyptian culture and society.

According to a recent announcement by Presidential Spokesperson Ahmed Fahmy, research is currently underway to determine a suitable location for the cemetery.
